My Occupational Therapist
LAUREN BESSER
Lauren is the face behind My OT. She is a well-versed OT with a wealth of experience across the therapeutic sector, ranging from paediatrics to older adult services. Community is at the heart of everything she does; she only uses the highest quality allied healthcare professionals and works hard to ensure her interventions are both enjoyable and functional so that each session is as beneficial and meaningful as possible for each client.

Jo SOLOMAN
Jo is one of our paediatric OTs. With a special interest in cognitive learning skills, she has has over 20 years of experience working within the NHS, as well as in the private, education and charitable sectors. Jo is also a CO-OP practitioner and can work within the Feuerstein frame of reference (Brightstart/Instrumental Enrichment). Jo ensures that every child leaves each session feeling accomplished.

TYLA ABEL
Tyla is an Australia-trained paediatric OT committed to helping children and young people with emotional regulation and sensory processing. Having worked with children both privately and in the NHS for 10 years, she is creative in using her vast toolbox to help clients discover their strengths and sense of self. Tyla's main aim is to ensure her clients feel empowered and leave with a smile on their face!

My Occupational Therapist
Enna Cohn
Enna qualified as an OT in 2021 and started her career working in a rotationary position as a paediatric OT. In this role, she worked with clients of all ages and abilities and across different settings including the NHS, clinics, and schools. Enna has worked with children with ASD, ADHD, Global delay and other learning difficulties. She also has experience writing EHCPs for pre-school and school-aged children. Enna takes a holistic approach and greatly values the inclusion of her patients' schools and caregivers. Positivity and creativity are central to her work. Enna guides her sessions by her patients' interests, ensuring they are not only effective but always fun!

Caylee dixon
Caylee is a specialist OT who trained in Pretoria, South Africa. She has a keen interest in sensory integration, Autism Spectrum Disorder, early intervention, and school- related difficulties and is completing the final steps of the Ayres Sensory Integration training. Caylee has worked with young people across a range of settings and has led specialised training in schools.

SHIRA kRUSKAL
Shira is also one of our paediatric OT's and Advanced Sensory Integration Practitioner. Shira started her OT career in a big NHS hospital working in adult orthopaedics but became interested in paediatric OT following experiences with her own children. She is passionate about all aspects of sensory integration and loves the challenge of applying her wide breadth of knowledge to each therapeutic intervention. Shira is excellent at adjusting the task to make it just right for the child.

Shelley Gordon
Shelley is both an adult and paediatric OT specialising in home adaptations and specialist equipment. Originally trained in South Africa, she has 27 years of experience in helping her clients create and achieve realistic goals on their journey to independence. Shelley always places her clients at the centre of her practice and works at a pace set by them. She has also worked in schools and other settings.

Miriam radomsky
Miriam is one of our adult OTs. She has worked across the NHS and private sector supporting many adults with an array of physical, psychological, cognitive, and sensory impairments, including aging, palliative care, neurological conditions and stroke. Miriam has expert knowledge in home environment assessments and specialist seating, specialist equipment and manual handling.

ANNA Michau
Anna is an adult OT. She has 25 years of experience, working with adults with physical disability in the NHS and Community Rehabilitation. Alongside her main work, Anna has a specialist interest in Stroke and Acquired Brain Injury and devotes much of her time to working in a charity supporting Stroke survivors and those with Acquired Brain Injuries. She is passionate about creating unique and special relationships with each patient as she helps integrate them back into independent living, meaningful activity, and work.

Susan Hofmann
Susan Hofmann is a highly experienced and HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with over 14 years of practice supporting children, young people, and adults with a wide range of needs including paediatrics, neurodiversity (autism, ADHD), mental health conditions, and eating disorders. She holds degrees in Occupational Therapy and Architecture. Susan has worked extensively in both NHS and independent settings across the UK and Germany, including CAMHS services, specialist schools, and private clinics. Her approach is neuro-affirmative, family-centred, and individually tailored, with a strong emphasis on empowering children and young people through meaningful, goal-oriented activities. She also collaborates closely with parents, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a consistent and supportive environment for each child.

Georgia Christodoulou
Georgia obtained her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Derby in 2020. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Masters of Arts in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Since qualifying, Georgia has worked with children and young people in clinics, mainstream nurseries, primary schools and secondary schools. Currently, Georgia works primarily with children with learning disorders, autism, and sensory processing difficulties. Working in independent clinics, Georgia creates customized therapy plans that focus on each child’s unique strengths and goals, helping them gain confidence and independence in everyday activities. In school settings, Georgia works closely with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies that enhance learning, participation, and classroom success. Georgia has a special interest in Sensory Integration and is currently undergoing training in Ayres Sensory Integration. She is also aspiring to become trained in DIRFloortime, further expanding her expertise in supporting children with sensory and developmental needs. Georgia is passionate about working collaboratively with parents and caregivers to set meaningful, individualized therapy goals. She strongly believes in empowering families to play an active and confident role in their child’s development, fostering progress both in therapy and in everyday life

Madison Meadsmith
Hi, I’m Madison. I’m an Aussie who’s been living in the UK for almost 2 years. I have been an OT for 6 years, and I have a passion for paediatrics. I have worked in a variety of areas including within schools, medical settings and private practice. I have a particular interest in delivering client-centred and evidence-based practice tochildren with neurodiversity and those who need the extra support in day to day life. I have completed various training in sensory approaches, trauma-informed care, reflex integration, coaching and play. I love working with a variety of children and providing interventions which supports the development of everyday skills.

My Physiotherapist
DEBRA SILVER
Debra has 15 years' experience working as a children’s physiotherapist within the NHS and Private sector. She has worked with babies and children in schools, homes, and hospitals and currently splits her time between a variety of private clinics in London as well as Barnet Hospital where she manages the NHS children’s therapy team and Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice where she provides hydrotherapy. Debra is passionate about supporting the neurodevelopment of babies and young children and has a clinical specialist role in Children's Rehumatology, providing assessment and management for children with hypermobility, chronic pain and inflammatory arthritis. Above all, she always ensures that her sessions are engaging and fun, placing the child and family at the centre of her care.

EMMA BROOKS
Emma is our community physiotherapist and has worked as a Band 8 Clinical Lead for the NHS, liaising with consultants in orthopaedic clinics. Emma has extensive experience supporting patients in managing spinal, hip, and knee pain, as well as improving functionality in the home post-injury, illness, or inactivity. She is a wonderful addition to our team!

Katie hinton
Katie is an experienced children’s physiotherapist with a background working across both the NHS and private sector. She has extensive knowledge in supporting children with a wide range of neurological and developmental disorders, from newborns through to young adults. Katie is passionate about making every session both fun and functional, helping children build their skills in a way that feels engaging and enjoyable. Her aim is to support each child’s individual journey, promoting independence, confidence, and development through play-based, goal-focused therapy.

My Speech & Language Therapist
Sarah Goodman
Sarah is a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. She has worked in mainstream nurseries, primary and high schools as part of the NHS. Sarah is especially interested in supporting children with speech, language and/or social communication difficulties. Sarah also has considerable experience assessing and writing reports and ongoing care plans.

Gillian Gholam
Gillian is a Speech and Language Therapist working with children and young people aged 4 upwards. She has worked in primary and secondary schools all her career. Gillian is very experienced in supporting children with and without EHCPs. She loves playful interaction with children and working in partnership with adults around them so that everyone is communicating better.

Rinay Kullen
Hi, I’m Rinay, a South African-trained Speech and Language Therapist with over six years of experience working across the UK and South Africa. Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to work in a variety of settings, including the NHS, private clinics, schools, and universities, in both hands-on clinical roles and leadership positions. I work with children and adults who experience a range of communication and swallowing difficulties, This includes individuals with Social Communication Differences including Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), Cerebral Palsy, and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). I also have specialist skills in supporting feeding and swallowing (dysphagia), and I regularly use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to support those with complex communication needs. My approach is grounded in child-led and neuro-affirming practice. I believe that therapy should respect each person’s unique identity, autonomy, and sensory profile. I focus on building trusting relationships and creating safe, supportive environments where children and families feel empowered and heard. Beyond therapy, I enjoy working on service development and quality improvement projects, as well as delivering training to school staff, parents, and other professionals. I love being part of a multidisciplinary team and truly value the collaboration that comes from working alongside educators, healthcare professionals, and families.

Kelly Cheung
Kelly is a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with experience supporting children and young people across clinics, primary and secondary school settings. She follows a creative, child-led, and neuroaffirming therapy approach and is passionate about working collaboratively with families, educators, and professionals to ensure consistent support across all environments.

Annie NGUYEN
Annie is our clinic and school therapy assistant and recently gained a Masters degree in Foundations of Clinical Psychology and Mental Health. Annie is an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who loves to bring creativity into everything she does. She is passionate about helping young people find joy and independence in their lives and loves to think outside of the box when it comes to each session she leads!

Alex Parker
Alex is our Office Manager. She manages My OT’s busy schedules and is the behind-the-scenes point of contact for Parents & Carers during a client's healthcare journey. For any initial enquiries or information, do not hesitate to contact her at: office@my-ot.co.uk

Office
Bernice BERG
Bernice is the Office Manager for our Finchley clinic. She has vast experience of running an office within the Charity and IT industries. She is able to don as many hats as required during her busy day: she arranges appointments, answers queries, chases suppliers and deals with the building management. She is also in regular communication with parents and meets and greets students and families. Bernice's work keeps the Finchley Central clinic running smoothly.
